Alberto Ortega
Country: SpainUpon finishing his cinematography studies at the TAI school in Madrid (2003), he began his career directing two short films: "Oculto" (2005) and the award-winning "Dia de perro" (2006) while beginning his career on various television channels such as graphic designer (FOX Spain, Globomedia and La Sexta). As a director, he has since signed multiple advertising pieces for brands such as Movistar, Amazon Prime, Sony, Warner, VISA, Cartoon Network, among others.
In 2016 he premiered the award-winning documentary film “Even though you don't know it” (RTVE, Canal Sur) which he co-directs with Charlie Arnaiz, with whom a year later he will found the production company Dada Films & Entertainment to create and develop new formats and content.
He immediately directed the fiction project called "EI Punto Frío" (RTVE, 2018), Branded Content projects such as "Poesia tu tu" (Loewe, 2018), advertising campaigns and new formats such as "Memoria de futuro" (RTVE, 2017 ) and "Call it X" (PlayZ, 2021). In 2021 he received a Goya nomination with the documentary film "Anatomía de un Dandy".
In 2022, he premiered the documentary series "Raphaelismo" (Movistar+), which he co-directed and produced with his partner Charlie Arnaiz, and premiered the fiction short film "Denali", with a futuristic cut.
He has recently become a member of the Film Academy.
