Country: EstoniaI'm an animation director and illustrator hailing from Estonia. I studied fine arts and animation at the Estonian Academy of Arts. I have directed animated short films which have been screened at many international film festivals and won national and international awards. For example, "In the Air" (2009) and "Fatcula" (2016) both won "Animation of the Year" award by Cultural Endowment of Estonia. “In the Air” also won “Best of Fest” at the Melbourne International Animation Festival (2010).
Besides my own short films I have directed music videos, commercials, infomercials, commission works for museums and other types of animated content.
In addition to that, I have been invited to talk about my work in Estonia, Australia, Kosovo and Mexico and I have been mentoring animation students at the Estonian Academy of Arts.
